8th Annual CS Research Symposium (2022-2023 Spring)
The 8th Annual Brown CS Undergrad Research Symposium hosted on May 2 was an exciting opportunity for undergraduates to present their computer science-related research to fellow students, faculty judges, and industry partners. There will be a poster session, free food, swag, and a chance to win cash prizes!
7th Annual CS Open House (2022-2023 Fall)
The 7th annual CS Open House happened on Wednesday, October 19th from 5:30-7:30PM in the 3rd floor Atrium with the option of being remote. Lots of labs were recruiting new students to join their team, and students had the opportunity to meet professors/researchers and chat about their ongoing work.
7th Annual CS Research Symposium (2021-2022 Spring)
The Undergraduate Research Symposium was back for its 7th year on Thursday, May 5 2022. This annual event is always a great opportunity for undergraduate students to showcase their work and learn about the exciting research projects their peers are working on.
6th Annual CS Research Open House (2021-2022 Fall)
The 6th Annual CS Research Open House took place on Thursday, November 18 2021, 4-6PM EST in CIT 3rd floor atrium. There was also be a hybrid component at the start of the event.
6th Annual CS Research Symposium (2020-2021 Spring)
The Undergraduate Research Symposium is the biggest CS-related undergraduate research event of the year. Get excited because you’re about to get a taste of research in the department and take a peek at what’s happening behind (virtual) closed doors in the CIT.
Demystifying Grad School: Conversations with Grad Students (2020-2021 Spring)
Grad school opens up career opportunities in research and offers unique chances to work on complex, exciting problems! What is grad school like? How do I get in? Is it right for me? This event took place on Thursday, March 25 from 6PM - 8PM EDT, featuring a panel of current CS grad students and Q&A session in small-group setting.
CS Graduate School Information Session (2020-2021 Spring)
We co-hosted this event on March 3, 2021 where Brown CS Prof. Shriram Krishnamurthi gave a brief presentation followed by Q&A to adress a wide-variety of CS grad-school related questions! If you have any lingering questions, feel free to contact Prof. Krishnamurthi directly or reach out to us.
Spring 2021 First-Year and Sophomore Roundtable (2020-2021 Spring)
